I did not make the grand shopping trip I had planned. Instead, as is typical when you try to plan things with people who aren’t planners, we didn’t head out to Goodwill until two hours AFTER we were supposed to already be there. She slept in and her phone died. I wasn’t out of my PJs until 2PM. I love lazy Saturdays. They serve their purpose, but they don’t help much with blogging when I’m supposed to blog about shopping. Haha…
We went to Hobby Lobby (an addiction I have), Walmart, a seasonal Halloween shop, Hancock Fabrics and Goodwill before my dinner plans at 6PM. I ended up getting everything else I needed for my costume. It’s super secret because I know my friends and my friends will scream when I walk into the party. However, I’ll share it with you…
Just go here and watch the video. I’m in love with this network and I about died when I saw the costume. I will give you a breakdown of my costume process as I go through. I’m having a dinner party tonight, but I’ll put a little together every other night this week until All Hallows’ Eve. (BTW, you’re in luck if you love the video but you’re thinking to yourself “Gee… wouldn’t it be AMAZING if they had one for food, too?!”)
I’m really sorry that my second post is so short and that there aren’t any pictures. I PROMISE that my next one will have photos of my costume process and a cost breakdown.
While you’re waiting, check out the links in this post. You won’t be disappointed.
